Before & After :: Brennan

The bones of this home was great, but with absolutely no imagination; the design, details and materials all needed to be brought up to date. With 40 year old stucco, a simple ‘box’ building footprint, a dangerous hanging balcony and excluded details like trim, fascia with inadequate belly band size. A window behind the tree lit the way only to the dark stairwell, which was among others that were not updated to code. Nevertheless, you can only hit your head so many times until you cannot take it  anymore – Its time to renovate!

Before & After :: Lomond

Homes built in the 70’s always give constant reminders of its age. With quirky little details like closed quarters with too many walls, small bedrooms, only 1 bathroom and exterior (unusable) details like the oh so small window planter boxes and shutters. With removal of walls, a front yard extension, master bedroom enlargement and ensuite addition, garage closure and exterior ‘dressings’. This home received an upgrade back to this decade.
